Carlingford Trip - Info and Payment

Hi all,

This is an email regarding the 6th class school trip. We have finalised the cost and dates for the sixth class trip this year. We will be returning to Carlingford in Co. Louth. 

The dates will be 22nd and 23rd of April 2020. This is the Wednesday and Thursday of the first week back after Easter. Departure and return times will be clarified closer to the time when buses are confirmed. 

The cost for the trip will be subsidised by the school and we ask that parents pay €120 per child. This can be paid through a bank transfer. When transferring money to the school account parents must include a reference with child's full name to ensure it is clear who has paid. We ask that the money is paid before Easter.

Obair Bhaile                                   21st/ November /2019 English Spellings:  Sixth Class Spellings - Term 1 - Week 14: 'ary' words. Some people have differentiated spelling lists but should still continue at Term 1 - Week 14 of their list. Litriú Gaeilge:  Seachtain a deich (Week 10) - Spellings to be kept in Irish Display Folder. Please practise every night. Children need to be able to ask and answer these Q's, as well as spell them. These are revision spellings from last year. Gaeilge:  Na briathra rialta - Verbs - learn:  dún / close, éist / listen,   fág  / leave ,  fan  / wait or stay, féach / look, glan / clean, ól / drink agus rith / run.  Reading:  Please read for at least 15 mins per day. We are asking parents/guardians to sign and check reading folders at least 1-2 times per fortnight. Thank you for your cooperation.
