NB. Children should have a separate English, Maths & Gaeilge display folder. Please ensure they are kept tidy and organised. Important worksheets, spellings, tables, notes and revision work to be kept inside. If you are missing revision booklets please let us know so we can replace them. After that it is up to you to replace lost notes.

 English Spellings: Sixth Class Spellings - Term 1 - Week 1: Long Vowels - Silent E. 
Some people have differentiated spelling lists but should still begin at Term 1 - Week 1 of their list.

Litriú Gaeilge: Seachtain a hAon (Week 1) - Spellings to be kept in Irish Display Folder. Please practise every night. Children need to be able to ask and answer these Q's, as well as spell them. These are revision spellings from last year. 

Tables: We are asking everyone to revise their 1x - 12x multiplication tables. We will test them on Friday. Need to know these off by heart. If you already know these really well please revise your division tables or begin revising your 'Operations' booklet that you were given last year. Everything should be in your Maths Display Folder. 

Reading: Please read for at least 15 mins per day. Karl's Class have been given new books from the library. Some children have lost or not returned their Reading Folders from last year. Please have one last look and if you cannot find it I shall replace it tomorrow. 
We are asking parents/guardians to sign and check reading folders at least 1-2 times per fortnight. Thank you for your cooperation.

Master Your Maths: Term 1 - Week 1 - Complete Monday - Thursday section by Friday 6th September 2019.

Swimming dates: Thursday the 12th, 19th and 26th September 2019 and Thursday the 3rd, 10th and 17th October 2019. Cost: €30 - Please pay the office directly - cash or payment can be made online.
